Ordination to Diaconate

Archbishop Diarmuid Martin ordained Darren Brennan to the diaconate in Foxrock Church on Friday July 4th at 3pm. Darren was born in Downpatrick, Co Down and comes from a family of five children. He is a professed religious with the Legionaries of Christ and has worked with young people in Ireland, Mexico and Italy. He did his studies in Ireland, Spain and Rome.

Darren has been posted back to Ireland and works with youth in evangelization initiatives. He will be ordained to the priesthood in Rome on December 20th this year. Please keep him in your prayers. A pilgrimage for young men coinciding with the ordination is being organised to Rome from Friday 19th to Wednesday 24th of December.
