Although the religious way of life is questioned by many in today's world, never have the demands and challenges been greater. To meet that challenge, to address the problems of society, that is the role of the Augustinian community, whether as chaplains, building parish communities, teaching or ministering to the needs of the sick and those who suffer from social and economic injustice.
The challenges faced by St. Augustine, our founder, in 353 AD, are similar in scale to those we must respond to today.
